Sponsored by the Pleasant Hill Recreation and Park District, the team is open to all under 19 who are able to swim 25 yards of freestyle (face in the water with rhythmic breathing).
One of the reasons for the Dolfins success, is the vital role played by the parents acting through their organization, The Pleasant Hill Dolfins Parent Club. PARENT PARTICIPATION IS REQUIRED at meets and other activities.
The Dolfin swim season runs from June to August. Swim Clinics are offerred earlier. The Dolfins host 8 meets and participate in 11 others this year. Meets are generally held Wednesday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays.
Spring practice is at the Pleasant Hill Park Pool. Summer practice is at the Oak Park Education Center.
